Thank you for scheduling some time to chat Disney with us! We love inviting members of the Disney community onto our show. Y’all have so many great stories and memories to add to the fun!
Here are some things you may be wondering:
How long should I expect our chat to be?
Set aside 60 minutes to be safe. Although our actual conversation may be closer to 30 minutes, we may need to work through any connection challenges in the beginning.
Do I need any special equipment?
We don’t expect you to have professional podcasting equipment. Instead, you’ll need a few common items. A working set of earbuds/headphones, a high-speed internet connection, and a computer/laptop that will run a video chat session similar to Skype or Zoom.
How do I “meet” with you to chat?
We use a service called Riverside to provide us a virtual “room” to talk. So, yes, you get to join our podcast from the comfort of home. It’s free for you to use. We will send an invitation to our meeting room to the email address you’ve provided us. The day of our scheduled meeting, click the link in the invitation to join. Riverside works best on a desktop/laptop with a Chrome browser. If you need to use a mobile device, visit the app store on an iPhone to download the Riverside app. It is currently available only for Apple devices. You do not need to have an account with Riverside. Simply click the link to join.
What’s in it for me?
Believe it or not, your followers on Instagram (or other social media platforms) like to hear more about YOU. This is a great way to share your stories and allow more opportunities to be relatable to your followers. And we are happy to help you promote projects you’re working on or other items of note.
What if I have other questions?
We’re happy to answer anything you’ve got for us. You can DM us on Instagram @ThatParkLifePodcast or send Greg an email at greg@thatparklifepodcast.com
Thanks again and remember: this is all about our shared love of Disney! So, no need to be nervous!
